Jailbreaking Your iDevice

With the release of the first generation of iPhone in 2007, the only way to run software on it was with web applications in a browser limited to those published by apple. But with the release of iPhone 3G and the launch of Apple’s iTunes App Store in 2008,
iPhone users were able to choose from thousands of apps that could actually be installed on the phone itself. To date, there are tons of apps available in the store.
WHY YOU NEED TO JAILBREAK YOUR IDEVICE
The major reason why you need to jailbreak your iDevice is because of the limitations to the iDevice and the App Store offerings, Apple restricts some basic abilities that other cell phones offer standard, including recording video, custom ringtones, photo zoom and the ability to change the look and feel(including icons). With the help of jailbreaking, you will be able to bypass all these limitations and allows you to take the advantage of third-party apps. Specifically, those that Apple has declined to distribute through the App Store. These programs are however distributed by the developers so as to avoid the distribution fee charged by Apple. One of other reasons of jailbreaking an iDevice is unlocking it. Unlocking an iDevice breaks the lock SIM card and allows the device to work with all carriers of SIM card.
JAILBREAKING…..HOW TO
The first thing you need to do is download EvasiOn on your pc.
Connect your device to your computer and launch the EvasiOn app that you just downloaded .
Click on jailbreak button in the Evasion app window. This will take a while as it uploads some necessary jailbreak data, during this process, your phone will restart. Then wait for EvasiOn to finish this step.
EvasiOn also will install a temporary jailbreak app on your device and it will prompt you to open it when ready. Simply tap on the jailbreak icon on your device, this will cause the screen to flash briefly but appears to do nothing. However, looking at your computer screen, you find out that the jailbreak process continues. This will take a couple of minutes or less, and your device will reboot a couple of times. But the moment you see your lock screen, then you have successfully jailbreak your idevice. Navigate to cydia and enjoy your new jailbreak!
